How can I see a house with Rhino Shield?

But I am willing to bet that most Pittsburghers have already seen a house in Rhino Shield and don’t realize it.

This house sits about half way up Mt. Washington, just to the fight of the Liberty Tunnels. They had Rhino Shield applied in 2022.  


There are several different substrates on this house.  Among them are  wood, masonry, and fiberglass.  We were able to correct all of the issues that the customer was experiencing.  The stucco was cracking and chipping.  The paint on the fiberglass was peeling and the paint on the wood was flaking.  


Next time you are heading towards the Liberty Tunnels or on The Boulevard of the Allies, up on the bluff, look over toward Mt. Washington and see what Rhino Shield can do.

Nearly half of the people I meet are at the beginning of their journey.  They know that they need to do something to improve the exterior appearance of their home, but there are so many choices.  Which is the best choice for them.  In most cases, they have older Aluminum or vinyl siding and are considering the options.  Should they paint it, coat it with Rhino Shield or replace it with new vinyl or cement board siding. Let’s investigate all of these options based on 3 criteria, Durability, color options, and cost.
